R.V. Anderson Associates (RVA) was retained to provide complete engineering services from project inception through to construction for this 477 lot residential development in the Town of Halton Hills.
RVA undertook Preliminary Site Servicing, Stormwater Management, Traffic Impact, Hydraulic Analysis and Alignment/Access Studies to assist the client in obtaining Draft Plan Approval per order of the OMB. A Class EA was carried out regarding the extension of Princess Anne Drive to cross the CN Rail tracks via an underpass structure.
Features of this subdivision, completed by RVA, included a 250 m long fisheries friendly box culvert, a watercourse relocation and upgrade, a 60 m long pedestrian underpass crossing of CN tracks, Trafalgar Road improvements, the Princess Anne Drive underpass structure on the CN Rail Toronto to Sarnia mainline tracks, external roadway and sanitary sewer construction, and a temporary pumping station and forcemain.

The design and construction of this project to base asphalt were fast tracked from February to December to enable building permit availability prior to winter freeze up. Innovative servicing solutions were implemented, resulting in a substantial savings in servicing costs. One stop shopping for civil engineering services resulted in a savings of time and administrative effort by the client. |
