R.V. Anderson Associates Limited (RVA) was retained to provide complete planning and engineering services for this 240 lot subdivision development including residential, commercial, park and stormwater management land uses. RVA’s initial involvement included the successful re-designation of the lands from estate to urban residential, approvals for watershed ponds, and obtaining sewage allocation in the local treatment plant.
This was followed by draft plan submission and approval, detailed engineering design and approvals, and construction of this development in two stages. RVA also undertook the replacement of deficient downstream sewers in Highway 7A, and assisted with negotiation of cost sharing agreements with a developer group and with the Region of Durham.
