This historically significant structure conveys the Welland River (shown on left side in photograph) under the Old Welland Canal. R.V. Anderson Associates Limited was retained to perform a detailed condition study and preliminary engineering for the rehabilitation of the inlet and outlet superstructures, each of the six 22 foot diameter tunnels and canal walls. The purpose of the study was to identify repair and maintenance costs to the year 2014. |
