project description: R.V. Anderson Associates Limited (RVA) provided engineering services for the design, tendering, construction inspection and commissioning a storm water monitoring chamber at this heavy equipment manufacturing facility. A reinforced concrete chamber was constructed in an existing storm sewer discharging to the Old Welland Canal. In addition, an oil monitor incorporating a photodetection device was installed in order to provide continuous surveillance for oily discharges in order to allow early response by the facility.
