project description: R.V. Anderson Associates Limited (RVA) provided services for the design and construction administration for the structural steel framing and treatment equipment building to support and operate 3 - 75 ton electrostatic precipitators for an automotive parts manufacturer. The precipitator equipment was pre-selected and supplied by a U.S. manufacturer. Therefore significant design coordination was required to ensure that the new equipment matched the existing works. The installation was completed without any field modifications and equipment commissioning allows GDX to meet air effluent compliance requirements.
