Dania Chehab wins the Fresh Ideas Program Competition at the 2011 OWWA Conference
Congratulations to Dania Chehab who was the winner of the Fresh Ideas Program Competition that took place at the recent OWWA Conference. The Fresh Ideas Program is for Young Professionals who are first time technical session presenters.
All accepted presentations in the Fresh Ideas Program Competition are evaluated by a panel of industry professionals based on the following criteria which are equally weighted:
- Technical Content
- Benefit to the Drinking Water Industry
- Oral Presentation Skills
- Organization and Impression
Dania’s presentation “Gaining Efficiency: Reviving a 1960’s Pumping Station” was based on the RVA upgrade project at the Hamilton Stone Church and Garth Water Pumping Station.
As a recipient of the Fresh Ideas Program Competition, Dania has an opportunity to compete in the Fresh Ideas poster competition at the AWWA Annual Conference and Exposition which will be held in Washington, DC, from June 12th to June 16th
