Anderson Associates Limited (RVA) is pleased to announce that they have once again been named one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies, as sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC Commercial Banking, National Post, and Queen’s School of Business. RVA first received this prestigious national award in 2008, then was re-named as one of Canada’s best managed companies for 2009 and again for 2010.

To address 2010’s economic climate, RVA focused on project delivery with key clients, while selectively pursuing additional work to sustain the firm’s backlog into the future. Key strategy areas included strengthening project management services; growing the staff complement to satisfy production requirements and achieve succession planning; and “narrowing” the firm’s business development focus to be more selective and successful with new work opportunities.

This strategy resulted in 2010 revenues 13% greater than 2009; continuing growth of the firm’s staff complement; and expansion into St. John’s, NL in early 2011.
