project description:
R.V. Anderson Associates Limited was retained for design, approvals and construction review for site services, grading and stormwater management at the 4.5 ha Schulich School of Business, Executive Learning Centre and Parking Structure 3 site at York University’s Keele Campus. During the preliminary design, a traffic study was conducted to determine the appropriate road and intersection configuration to accommodate future campus developments, a future collector road between the Boynton Woodlot and the Schulich School of Business, as well as a potential subway entrance.

The design and construction review included approximately 450 m of new roads with full municipal services, a 300 m long bicycle path, and stormwater management facilities, such as rooftop storage, underground storage pipes, and oil/grit separators to control the site’s peak runoff rates and the site’s runoff water quality.

project status:
The project was successfully completed on time and on budget.
