RVA's St. John's office commenced operations in January 2011 as a new division: Kavanagh Associates. This new division reflects the merger of Kavanagh & Associates Limited with RVA.

The staff of Kavanagh Associates have been providing professional engineering services throughout Newfoundland and Labrador since 1991. They are experienced in the design and construction of infrastructure projects for municipal services, residential and commerical land development, and technical studies.
