System Configuration

System configuration is sometimes referred to as proving (or in some cases disproving) the layout of any existing storm or sanitary sewer system drawings. To ensure that system manholes can be located during emergencies and /or during regular manhole maintenance, it is essential to have updated and accurate drawings of your system.

The tools used in performing inflow/infiltration evaluations such as; smoke testing, manhole inspections, dye testing and closed circuit television surveys are the same tools used to proof existing system configuration. In some cases the cost of proving the system configuration is normally absorbed in the cost of the overall inflow/infiltration study.

Hydro-Com Technologies Limited has the necessary equipment and trained personnel to implement system configuration type work. The client can expect to receive detailed drawings showing actual existing piping and manhole layouts in both hard copy, and electronic formats.
