Health and Safety
Hydro-Com Technologies Limited personnel meet or exceed all of the applicable Occupational Health and Safety requirements necessary to performing work within a municipal or industrial environment. Safety training for Hydro-Com Technologies Limited requires that all personnel are inoculated for Hepatitis A and B and are properly and up to date trained for emergency first aide, Workplace Hazardous Material Identification (WHMIS) and confined space entry and rescue training.
Safety equipment used and operated by Hydro-Com Technologies Limited consists of, but not limited to:
- Vehicular and safety equipment required for field operations
- Continuous gas and oxygen detectors
- Confined space entry safety harness and tripod
- Voice activated two-way communications equipment
- Confined space ventilation equipment
- Rescue breathing equipment (positive pressure)
- Signage and traffic control
- Mobile generator (for on-site electrical supply)
All materials used by Hydro-Com Technologies Limited while performing their field work (such as, liquid smoke and tracing dyes) are non toxic and environmentally safe (see MSDS sheets and testing results on this or the HURCO Technologies web site).
