Honoured as the recipient of the Ontario Public Works Association’s (OPWA) Joe Johnson Sr. Private Sector Service Award for outstanding Individual Achievement.

On May 22, 2009, at the 2009 Annual General Meeting in Montreal, Quebec, Rodney Hopper, P.Eng., was bestowed the distinction of Fellow of the Canadian Society for Senior Engineers, in recognition of excellence in engineering and for services rendered to the profession and to Canada.

Awarded the Water Environment Federation's prestigious Arthur Sidney Bedell Award, acknowledging extraordinary personal service to a WEF Member Association. Vince has been active in the Water Environment Association of Ontario (WEAO) since 1993, including acting as president for the 2006 – 2007 term.
