Job Description:
 

As a member of the Urban Development/Transportation/Municipal group:

·         Process design drawings for subdivision and site plan developments

·         Prepare design drawings for road reconstruction and widening

·         Design and drafting of water main, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, roads and grading

·         Earthworks volume calculations

·         Prepare contracts and form of tender documents

·         Design or assist in the design of stormwater management facilities

·         Field inspection

Qualifications:

·         Graduate of a college level civil engineering program in the Municipal/Urban Development stream

·         Previous experience in the field of Municipal, Transportation or Urban Development engineering would be an asset

·         Proficient with AutoCAD

·         Experience with Land Development Desktop/Civil Design and Civil 3D would be an asset

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Able to work in an interactive team atmosphere
