The company was recently awarded a major watermain project from the City of Toronto and needs to expand it's Inspection team! 

Job Description:

We are currently seeking full-time Construction Inspectors for our Toronto office.  The successful candidates will be responsible for construction site inspection to ensure that the work complies with the contract drawings and specifications.  Candidates must have previous project experience with watermain inspection.

Duties/Responsibilities:

o        Full-time resident inspection

o        Interpretation of contract drawings and documents

o        Co-ordination of material testing

o        Organization and scheduling of municipal inspections

o        Attendance at regular project site meetings

o        Daily reporting on contractors activities

o        Maintaining a site diary

o        Ensuring that the project is being constructed in accordance with contract documents and specifications

Qualifications:       

• Graduate of a university or college level civil engineering program 
• Proficient in trenchless technology practices with previous project experience
• Familiarity with municipal engineering projects is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in an interactive team environment
• Knowledge of MS Office and Autocad is required
