Electrical engineering is a critical component of the complex Ontario – based water and wastewater projects that form the core of our work-load.

Job Description:
 

Assist the Electrical, C&I Manager in developing a strong and growing team.

Undertake design and contract administration jobs, and provide hands on training to junior staff, including:

• Develop power and control system design drawings
• Design Control Schematics using various types of starters and process equipment
• Produce project specifications including Process Narrative
• Witness FAT, SAT and commissioning of plant start ups
• Review shop drawings
• Contract administration, site visits and data gathering

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a university level electrical engineering program, with membership in IEEE or ISA
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably with a consulting firm
• Knowledgeable about process instruments available in Canada
• Familiarity with fixed speed and variable speed (VFDs) motor controls
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere
• Professional registration in Ontario is preferred
