The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction inspection, contract administration, quality assurance, quality control as well as health and safety for various heavy construction projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage the Construction Inspectors team, with a focus on quality assurance
• Generally oversee all construction inspection projects
• Provide expertise on contract administration and construction claims
• In-house Advisor for the Construction Lien Act and the Health and Safety Act
• Create and implement all policies and procedures for the employee Health and Safety Program.  Responsible for organizing and leading all relevant training sessions
• Perform contract administration duties for all major projects
• Participate in construction quality assurance reviews

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree; licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Minimum 15 years experience in a similar role
• Membership in PEO is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
