Engineering Summer Student

Water/Wastewater (Toronto)

Job Description:

• Assist Engineers with design projects and studies related to water treatment, water pumping and storage; wastewater treatment and pumping stations

• Variable work assignments based on active projects at the time

• Some travel may be required for field inspection or data collection

• It would be an asset if the student has developed  process and instrumentation diagrams, stress tests, and conducted research on new technologies

Qualifications:

• 3^rd or 4^th year Civil,  Mechanical or Chemical Engineering student
• Previous work term experience is beneficial
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work in an interactive team environment
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation is an asset

About RVA:

• The office is located at Sheppard/404, in North York, and is easily accessible by car and public transportation.  Having a vehicle is beneficial but not required
• The company pays 50% of the monthly parking fee
• Employees work a standard 37.5 hour week.  Occasional overtime may be required
• Business casual dress attire
• Ground level workout facility
