We are looking for a recent graduate who has a passion for water and wastewater projects!

This is a full-time permanent position which will commence in Spring 2010

Job Description:

Reporting to the Staff Manager of either the Water Supply or Wastewater Treatment Section in our Toronto office, you will provide assistance / support to senior staff. 

• Assist with studies and Class EAs for water supply and wastewater projects
• Organize preliminary and final design of :

Water treatment plants               Pumping stations

Reservoirs                                 Intakes

Trunk water mains                      Wastewater treatment plant

Wastewater pumping stations     CSO facilities

Trunk sewers                             Outfalls

• Participate in contract administration and inspections
• Help prepare AutoCAD design drawings

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a university or college level Civil, Mechanical or Chemical engineering program; or
• A new graduate with 1-2 years experience and has a strong interest in water/wastewater
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
• Construction inspection and or survey experience is beneficial
