This is a full-time permanent position which will commence in Spring 2010.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Staff Manager of the Municipal/Urban Development Section in our Toronto office, you will provide assistance / support to senior staff. 

• Assist in pre-engineering site surveys
• Design of roads, sewers, watermains, forcemains and grading for site plan and subdivision developments and municipal infrastructure projects
• Help prepare AutoCAD design drawings
• Provides office support during the construction stage of projects

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a university or college level civil engineering program; or
• A new graduate with 1-2 years experience and has a strong interest in urban development and municipal servicing projects
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
