Job Description:

Participate as a member of a professional team involved with the investigations, design and contract administration services of projects including municipal infrastructure projects, water and wastewater treatment, and pumping stations.

• Assist in pre-engineering site surveys
• Design of roads, sewers, watermains, forcemains and grading for site plan and subdivision developments and municipal infrastructure projects
• Help prepare AutoCAD design drawings
• Provides office support during the construction stage of projects

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a university or college level civil engineering program; or
• A new graduate with 1-2 years experience and has a strong interest in urban development and municipal servicing projects
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
• Familiarity with surveying, construction technology and related field skills
• Experience in water and wastewater pumping and treatment would be an asset

Candidates should be self-starters, able to work with minimal direction, and work within a team environment.
