Municipal Engineer (Welland)

An opportunity exists for a municipal engineer in our Welland Regional Office with experience in water and sewer, and infrastructure assessment/design projects for municipalities.

Job Description:

Responsible for proposals and marketing, preparation of engineering studies and reports, preliminary and detailed designs, and administration of construction activities for a variety of water/wastewater, drainage, and transportation projects.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Five to eight years Canadian consulting engineering experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Previous report writing experience is beneficial
• Familiarity with construction contracts and administration
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in water and wastewater pumping and treatment is an asset
